Mike has been a Realtor at Hometown Realty since 1988. He was the company’s first licensee and he worked for his mom, Bonnie Chenault. Hometown Realty has grown from a small office in Mechanicsville into a Central Virginia brokerage with over 300 agents and 11 offices ranging from Chesterfield County to Fredericksburg and from Henrico County to Prince George while keeping Hanover County as the heart of the operation. Mike has held many positions at Hometown and is the firm’s Principal Broker and is a team lead for The Mike Chenault Group. 

He is a partner with R-CI Builders and Rogers-Chenault Inc. Developers. The three companies are independent but strongly rely on each other in the daily mission of housing Virginians.

Mike lives in Hanover County with his wife, Kate, and dog Willie Nelson. Mike and Kate have 3 children, 2 sons-in-law and 5 grandkids. 

Mike graduated from Hampden Sydney College in 1988 and real estate has been his career.
