Born and raised in Hanover County, Skyler attended Fork Union Military Academy and received a football scholarship to Ohio University. After graduating, he was looking for a career that would give him the same fulfillment as his football career by putting in the time and effort to be successful. Skyler’s family has been surrounded by real estate and new home construction his entire life and ultimately decided to give it a shot. He learned very quickly that real estate, and really any sales position, is remarkably similar to athletics. It is all about putting in the work. How successful you want to be relies heavily on what you put into it. That is a key philosophy to Skyler’s business, and it is one of the many reasons he is so passionate about what he does. In 2015, Skyler got his real estate license and joined the Mike Chenault Group at Hometown Realty. Since then, he has seen his business grow.
